I apologize for all the sins and omissions which I have just now
stated.
I promise to try (with Your help and the help of others) not to

especially rejection.
With Your help I will obey my doctor/mate/pastor/employer &
not my negative feelings/thoughts.
With Your help I will be the friend that I need/want in my life.
With Your help I will take a shower, brush my teeth, make my
bed, do my laundry, & eat fruit.
Jesus,

'A sex scene you wouldn't show your mom': Kids told to write 'child porn'
'Either choose to resign from this board of education or you will be charged'
Members of a school board in Ohio have been told to resign after they utilized an allegedly obscene instruction guide that told students to write about an "X-rated Disney scenario."
Or "ten euphemisms for sex," or "a roomful of people who want to sleep together," or "a sex scene you wouldn't show your mom" or "the first time I killed a man" or "your favorite part of a man's body using only verbs."
The controversy has developed in Hudson, Ohio, where Cleveland.com said Hudson Mayor Craig Shubert and parents of students in the district are demanding the school board and teachers leave because of the book used in Liberal Arts II writing.
The book involved is called "642 Things to Write About."
"It has come to my attention that your educators are distributing essentially what is child pornography in the classroom. I’ve spoken to a judge this evening and she’s already confirmed that. So I’m going to give you a simple choice: either choose to resign from this board of education or you will be charged," Shubert warned.
The exact outcome of the confrontation hasn't been made available, but Hudson High issued an apology to parents and confirmed it is working to collect the books.
Hudson High School Principal Brian Wilch said he became aware of the book and its controversy only days before the board members were confronted in their meeting this week.
The book is used in a class that supports a college credit, and is offered by association with Hiram College.
It's offered at the high school.
Wilch said, "We did not exercise our due diligence when we reviewed this resource and we overlooked several prompts that were not appropriate. We felt terrible—you can’t unsee [the writing prompts]."
A mother of one student shared some of the suggestions from the book, including to write about "how you will die,' "you have been caught in bed by a jealous spouse. How will you talk your way out of this?" "write a sermon for a beloved preacher who has been caught in a sex scandal," "describe a time when you wanted to orgasm but couldn't," "drink a beer. write about the taste," and "the first time you had sex."
The mother explained she found out about the book from a friend who shared a screen-shot of a page in the book with her, the report said.
"I asked my daughter if she had been reading a book with inappropriate stuff in it and she said yes," the mother said.

“Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord. On the contrary: ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.’ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:17-21)
If you live on this earth you can be sure of one thing: you will witness evil. We should expect it and be prepared to react. How then, should we respond to evil?
Hate Evil. Romans 12:9 tells us “Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.”This may seem obvious, but our culture has turned evil into entertainment. We pay money to see evil unfold on the big screen. We etch out time to sit in our own homes and watch evil prevail on television. Because of this, we often find ourselves numb to the actual presence of evil when we see it on the news or right before our very eyes. We must learn to recognize evil and hate it.
Pray against Evil. Matthew 6:13 is a great example of praying for escape. “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Our pride often tricks us into thinking we can deal with evil on our own. We can’t, and if we try we will fail. We must pray to our Heavenly Father and ask for deliverance.
Expose Evil. Ephesians 5:11 says “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” Our current culture is one that teaches complete tolerance. We are expected to accept and tolerate any and all behavior, even if the behavior directly violates God’s Word. While we are expected, as Christians, to respond to sin with a certain level of grace and love, evil should in no way, under any circumstance be tolerated. It should be exposed and we should take no part in it.
Speak truth over Evil. Jesus should always be our ultimate example of how to live our lives. In Matthew 4:1-11 and Luke 4:1-14 we are given a wonderful example of Jesus responding to evil. In these verses, we read about Jesus being tempted by Satan in the wilderness. Imagine being face to face with Satan, the author of evil. How did Jesus respond? He quoted Scripture. Jesus is showing us the utmost importance of knowing God’s Word and being able to speak truth in the face of evil!
Let God handle what is Evil. Wars are waged to fight against leaders of evil nations, and there are punishments in place to deal with evil individuals. We should be thankful for the laws of our land and the protection provided by federal and local law enforcement, but we must also remember our responsibilities as individuals.
Let’s Pray:
Father God, we praise you for your love and faithfulness towards your children. We praise you for being a perfect, holy, trustworthy God that is bigger than all the evil we experience here on earth. We ask that you give us eyes to see when evil is before us, hearts to hate evil and the desire to flee from its presence. We ask that you would not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil and draw us closer to yourself. We ask for the long-expected Jesus to come quickly and make all things new. We ask these things His precious name. Amen.

Defining child sexual abuse material.
Child sexual abuse material (legally known as child pornography) refers to any content that depicts sexually explicit activities involving a child. Visual depictions include photographs, videos, digital or computer generated images indistinguishable from an actual minor. These images and videos that involve the documentation of an actual crime scene are then circulated for personal consumption. More recently, live-streaming sexual abuse has begun to surface. In these instances individuals pay to watch the live abuse of a child via a video streaming service. This type of abuse is incredibly difficult to detect, due to its real-time nature and the lack of digital evidence left behind following the crime.
Though child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is a global issue, the United States remains one of the largest producers and consumers of child abuse content in the world. It’s important to understand the true nature and pervasiveness of child sexual abuse material to convey the urgent need to address this crime.
REDEFINING "CHILD PORNOGRAPHY"
While “child pornography” remains the legal term for this material, the subject matter is one of the most violent, horrific forms of child abuse possible. For this reason, those working to combat this type of abuse have begun using the term “child sexual abuse material” (CSAM), which more accurately conveys the content and is explicitly tied to the source of the problem.
“CHILD ABUSE IMAGERY”
Child abuse images and videos are most often documented with the purpose of being shared widely for others to watch, and in so doing, victimizing the child many times over.
In 2002, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) started collecting child abuse images as part of its Child Victim Identification Program (CVIP). This program aims to identify multiple images that depict the same child for a twofold goal: (1) to assist federal and state law enforcement agencies in determining which seized images depict identified child victims; and (2) to assist law enforcement in locating unidentified child victims.
The statistical breakdown of the kind of abuse involved in the images submitted to NCMEC’s CVIP shows that 76% of the series collected contained images depicting penetration, while 44% of the series contained images depicting bondage and/or sado-masochism.
